Tensions remain on the rise between Baghdad and Erbil.

Kurdish media reports big number of Iraqi troops have been deployed to Makhmour in southwest Erbil and KDP commander Sirwan Bargain says they suspect ISF attack on Peshmarga.

      Iraqi government might still be eyeing at Khurmala oilfield which is only kilometres away from Makhmour (if that happens KRG will become completely bankrupt). Khurmala operate by KAR Group (close from Nechervan B.); Khurmala powerplant is largest provider of electricity in KRG.

      KRG parliament doesnt work for years Barzani is illegal president for years peshmergas and other public workers r not payed for months. Reality is that KRG is divided between 2 corrupted clans Barzani and Talabani that run it and they got u into this mess

Remember when people in the US cared about the destruction of Iraq's common goods?  When they were outraged by efforts to privatize?

Seems so long ago.


Instead of a war of attrition, the Iraq War's become a war of attention with so many wandering off with each passing year.
