On The Other Side Of The World (Chaka Khan)

Chaka Khan is recognized for making many a song a classic with her power and passion.  However, I don't think her "On The Other Side Of The World" ever got the attention and recognition it deserved.
It's an amazing vocal.  Her shading, her emphasis, her breath control, her passion.  This vocal is the benchmark everyone should aspire to.

Life is only slates and ladders
